Basrai

Basrai is a leading commercial variety of the Cavendish group of bananas. It is majorly grown in Maharashtra. The dwarf stature makes it less prone to wind damage. It has a good bunch size, and fruit length and quality.

Lal Velchi

Safed Velchi

Safed Velchi is a premium table variety grown in Thane and Nasik (Maharashtra). The plant has a slender yellowish-green stem with reddish petiole margins and takes around 13 months to mature.

 

Rajeli Nendran
